The man of the match was Elliot Twist as had the ball for most of the game and scored 2 goals.

1st Game - Tyntesfield v Firs Road Primary School
4:30pm and ready for kick off. The sun is still shining and there are many spectators who have come along to cheer all the players on. At the start of the game Firs took control of the ball and passed it over towards the goal nearly scoring, however Daniel Boyle make a spectacular save. Then Charlie Hatchell took control only to be tackled by Firs Road who then managed to score their first goal in the early minutes of the game. Tyntesfield made a great come back by dribbling the ball back up the pitch and Elliot Twist managed to score our first goal turning the score up to 1 all. Firs Road once again tried to score and Daniel Boyle made yet again a great save. At this point in the match Zach arrived to show his support. Zach said "he had popped round for a cup of tea". Shortly after the whistle blew and it was half time..

Second half...
Tyntesfield take control of the ball and Xavi kicked the ball over to Elliot on the other side of the pitch who then kicked it swiftly into the goal - what a great goal! The ball was then kicked out of Firs goal over to a Firs player who promptly passed it over to Mr. Rogerson’s daughter who happened to be playing and she passed it over to another Firs player who then succeeded in scoring their second goal. Shortly before the whistle blew signaling the end of the match Firs managed to score again. Unfortunately despite our best efforts we were unable to score any more goals and the end result was 3 v 2 to Firs Road - Well done Firs Road Primary.

2nd Game - Tyntesfield v Springfield
By this stage our players were starting to get tired playing in such hot conditions - substitutions were made and lots of water was drunk.
Start of the game and the ball was kicked over to Springfield who then made an impressive kick over to our goal but Daniel Boyle was at the ready and gave the ball a big kick out of the goal. Then we managed to score our first goal - well done Daniel Walker. Springfield tried to make a come back but again Daniel Boyle kicked the ball away from the danger zone. The ball was kicked off the pitch and then it was thrown back onto the pitch by a Springfield player and a big kick still did not result in any goals for Springfield. By this point Daniel Boyle was on the look out for any balls coming in his direction as he was determined that Tyntesfield would win this match. Springfield made another attempt to score and Andre managed to kick the ball out of play saving the ball from entering the goal. The ball was put back into play and Alex Fiddes passed the ball to Elliot who made a fantastic effort to score but alas the ball went over the net. A further attempt to score for Tyntesfield was made by Andre but it went just wide of the net - some great attempts at goal scoring.

Second half....
Almost immediately Dan Walker scored our 2nd goal of the match followed closely by Springfield's first goal.
Springfield were now on the defence - the ball was put into play and Andre headed the ball off the pitch to avoid another goal.
Towards the end of the match Charlie suffered an injury to his back sending him off the pitch. He was swiftly replaced by Shae Stewart.
Then the final whistle was blown and Tyntesfield had managed to win 2 goals to 1.
