Fundraising for Wilson Ward

On Wednesday 13th June, Wilson Ward at Wythenshawe Hospital were presented with a cheque for £626 by Cora Bowers in memory of her mum, who was treated on the ward but who sadly passed away last year. Cora made the decision to raise funds for the ward, where her mum had been treated, to say thank you for all they had done.

Cora organised a Cake and Coffee afternoon at school and encouraged friends, pupils, family and staff to bake and bring cakes to help raise money.

By the end of the day, Cora had raised £626.
