I am excited to have joined the incredible staff, team and community here at Tyntesfield Primary School and to be given the opportunity to teach in Year 3. I moved into teaching after my own two children started their school journey, and I witnessed first-hand the dedication teachers showed to their pupils. This encouraged me to enter the profession, to give me the opportunity to pass on my passion for learning, to be part of a collective, aiming to shape young minds to achieve their best through an engaging and challenging curriculum and to nurture the children to become inquisitive, creative and independent individuals in all aspects of their lives. I am also excited to be part of their light-bulb moments, to see their faces deep in thought or full of smiles when learning. I want to see them push themselves, grow in confidence and develop a true sense of their own value and capabilities. I am looking forward to working with all the children in my class, and their parents, to ensure that we have a successful year together to prepare them for their next step into Year 4 and beyond.
Pupils very much enjoy coming to school... They feel safe in the stimulating environment into which they are warmly welcomed... One pupil stated that, ‘You can be yourself here.’
